Title: Sr. Programmer
Location: Richmond, VA(Locals are highly preferred)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: $45/hr.
*US Citizen or Green Card only
Years of Relevant Experience: 5 plus years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Short Description:
• Need sr level programmer to assist in design and developmt of complex technology projects using the CTSU standards to accomplish the mission of the unit per the Strategic Plan.
• Programmer needed to provide senior level development/analysis expertise for application/data information requests.
Role Description:
• This position will perform the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of computer applications with a focus on taking program or report specification documents and turning them into functioning program code or report output that accomplishes the objectives of those specifications.
• These services are critical for the CORIS P3 remediation and reporting activities (COMPAS and CADMUS applications) as well as the COMPAS version upgrade, with all development work scheduled to be completed by 02/22/10 (an update of timelines can be discussed directly with mgr if candidate is selected for interview).
Required Skills:
• Normalized database design,
• SQL/T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, object-oriented programming, image creation/editing, XML/XHTML, CSS,
• Microsoft .NET framework (Active Server Pages), C#, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Documentation skills;
• Interpersonal skills and oral and written communications skills.
