Title: Sr Network Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA(Locals are Highly preferred)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $50/hr
Description:
- minimum 10+ yrs of experience in the related field.
- Thorough, in-depth knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP and all layers of the OSI Model.
- Meticulous attention to detail,skilled in providing documentation for end-users, ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneaously and to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Legally eligible to be hired as a state employee.
-Desired but not required: working knowledge of VMWare, Citrix,VPN.
- Considerable knowledge of HP Proliant and HP Blade server environment
- Considerable knowledge of HP Storage Area Network environment to include Zoning Configuratio.
Responsibilities Include:
- Installation of operating system, application and hardware patches and upgrades to servers and network devices as required.
- Network security configuration and administration.
- Special projects installing server and network equipment and software
- Create and maintain network document as required to include Visio diagrams
