Job Purpose:
Design, develop, implement and support complex Extract, Transformation, Load (ETL) processes to migrate large data volumes from source systems into an enterprise database, data mart and/or data warehouse. Under general supervision, perform product design, code migration and performance tuning. Must have an excellent knowledge of ETL design approaches within a data warehouse environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead ETL design based on requirements gathered while working on a cross-functional project team.
Administer workflows, mappings and sessions to load large data volumes from multiple sources into an enterprise database, data mart, and/or data warehouse.
Support the daily ETL cycle, including correcting production quality issues.
Prepare technical documentation of product sub-systems.
Performance tune ETL code in a high volume environment.
Perform complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
Other duties as assigned.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Experience Required:
Minimum five years experience in ETL development and administration and four years in a data warehouse environment. Strong Microsoft SQL Server database and Integration Services (SSIS) skills and experience with Windows are required. Experience with VSAM, mainframes, IBI Web Focus, and Autosys a plus.

The resource need to -
- redesign (if required) a large size (4000+ data elements) SQL Database which is current in design in-progress status
- Improve performance of the SQL Database currently designed
- Setup processes to receive data from mainframe extracts and load into the database
- Help the client in implementing the processes in production and provide support for couple of months.
The resource need to independently perform the DBA role. No other person in the client side is having the DB background and this new resource will be all responsible
