Position Overview Skills & Exp
The Systems Programmer will diagnose and analyze system related issues and recommend appropriate solutions based on knowledge of the appropriate systems and system software. This role also provides application support and communicates periodically with users on systems status, including system changes, problems, enhancements and potential impacts.
Hiring Criteria:
• Domino messaging systems administrator, extensive knowledge of SMTP architecture
• Server administration (mail apps, security, clustering, LDAP, gateways and web access)
• Architecture, planning, configuration, administration
• Experience with change control, system stds, and systems monitoring
• Virus and SPAM filter administration
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix server administration
Other Attributes Desired
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business relationship with both
• internal associates and external customers
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of the financial industry preferred
• Computer Science degree highly preferred
