Lead Data Architect
Location: Jersey City, NJ
•Currently looking for a Lead Data Architect with recent experience in designing/implement ing Data Marts/Data warehouses in Oracle.
•Must have hands-on experience in analyzing, designing and implementing solutions for complex data/reporting requirements.
•Must be proficient in SQL & query optimization in a Data Warehouse environment.
•Strong understanding of dimensional/ snowflake concepts.
•Should be well versed in multidimensional data structures.
•Must have had prior experience in implementing Oracle Best Practices in a Data Warehouse environment.
•Strong experience with relational database technology supporting data warehouses/BI reporting.
•Perform Conceptual, Logical, Physical, Multidimensional, & Hierarchical data modeling using leading data modeling tools.
•Good domain knowledge of Insurance industry is preferred. Strong business analysis skills a big plus.
•Work closely with ETL developers & cognos developers to provide solutions for complex data/reporting requirements.
•Basic unix skills and some database administration skills are quite helpful.
•Oracle database experience is a must.
•Must be a self-starter and a team player.
•Should assume leadership role if an opportunity arises.
•This is NOT an ETL architect or a BI/Cognos Architect position.
•Recent project(s) must include a Data Architect role with the above description
