Windows XP Productivity Programs ?

By: rekha singh | 03 May 2010 2:29 pm

I am debating between Windows 7 Home and Professional. What are some examples of Windows XP Productivity Programs that require Windows 7 Professional?

Few applications are developed that make a differentiation of whether it it a Pro or Home version of the OS software it is installed on. MS Home versions can be networked but are usually limited to a 5 system workgroup and cannot join a domain. Advanced security settings for file permissions and stuff are performed in safe mode. The Pro versions don't have these limitations.

Make the decision based on the funtionality of the OS, how it fits your needs and pocketbook.
