Windows 7 & Symantec Q&A 4.0 for Windows Will it work?
CommentsI would never use Norton or McAfee when you can get Comodo Security and Avast Protection free.

I can't get the Q&A to install but I think I only have version 4.0 from an old customer. Symantec has quit supporting this but there is an outfit that might help. They have a sequel to the Q&A database and they can convert old Q&A databases to the new Sesame format. You might look there for a more modern bit of software: http://www.lantica.com/
I tried various comparability modes but it won't install on my 64bit Win7 Pro. It 'might' install on a 32bit system but I can't say for sure.

Hi. Q&A 4.0 has nothing to do with any Symantec anti-malware product. Or anyone's anti-malware product for that matter.
It was a very early word processor and database application. You may be able to run it under compatibility mode with Win 7 but my copy of that program is long gone so I'm not sure. Probably wouldn't hurt to try it though.
