printer compatibility

I wanted to report back to say I finally got the printer installed, Whew!!

 

I found out before, that messing with the resolution thing has gotten me messed up. 

Like everything got large & I couldn't get out of it, etc. Restored before. This time, I finally got the resolution squared away!

 

Anyway, I was trying to install from the printer disk and kept getting messages about compatibility and resolution, etc.

 

Finally did the add printer and scrolled down the menu to the printer model I wanted to install & it worked.
