Font DPI Scalindg Personalization

By: rekha singh | 02 Aug 2010 1:05 pm

Need some help. I have Vista laptop.

In Personalization, how can I get the Font dpi scale to stick in a smaller scale. It seems to be set for the custom 144 as default. Each time I change it and restart, it reverts back to custom default.

I don't like the bigger text. It messes up my email viewing screen.

Well it seems that you can choose the smaller default size or the larger size or hit the customize button and manually set the scale by taking the tick out of the Windows set.

That is the problem, I take the tick out of the custom 144 default, I can choose a smaller default size ... and restart to set the change ... but the custom 144 default comes back.

How can I get the change to take?

Hello,

It seems you are using SquirrelMail check in there for how the email is

displayed.
You probably have the ability to set/change the font in it.

SEE:

Ok if you just want to set the desktop icon text size then go via the right click/personalize and choose the |Appearance Settings/Advance Button. In  that dialog click the Item drop arrow and choose Icon the in the Font choice below set the Text and size.

If you are trying to change text for a program its in the program Options.
